The Bay Area Improv Theatre is now offering Improv Workshops!
- Did you ever see an Improv group live or on TV and think, "I bet I could do that!"?
- Are you an actor that needs to learn some Improv because your teacher told you that you'd need it? (They're right!)
- Have you done Shortform Improv games and want to learn more about creating great scenes and characters?
- Did you ever just want to sing the Irish Drinking Song -- without all that drinking?
If you've ever thought you had what it takes to be an improvisational actor, here's your chance to find out from professionals.
We love Improv and we love to help people learn it. It's fun and it's exciting!
Learn valuable Improv skills from professionals who actually work every week. We're enthusiastic, have a voracious appetite for what we do, and years of experience doing it.
Where else are you going to get that??
You will learn to create great scenes and interesting characters.
(Great for actors of all types)
You'll learn new and classic Shortform Improv warm-ups and games.
(You’ll be a hit at parties!)
And, if you’re not an actor nor want to be, that’s fine! Many of the things we teach will simply help you become a better communicator, and be more at ease in groups and speaking in public. And we offer one-day Communication and Self Expression workshops -- Improv for Non-Actors -- that can show you how to be great in meetings and social situations.
Call Toby (813.966.0990) or Larry (813.300.0339) for more information and to get on our mailing list about other classes and events. (And don't worry -- we hate spammers as much as you do! We won't sell your info nor will we use it for any other purpose than to send you occasional updates about BAIT.)
